North American Technology Corporation (NATC) was founded in 1990 by Charles Campbell, formerly president of Saunders, Inc, a major provider of transportation services based in Birmingham, AL.
In 1990, NATC starting offering its Fuel Management service as a way to provide fleets assistance in managing their purchased fuel cost.
Shortly after, in 1991, NATC introduced its Service Locator product. Service Locator was first offered as a PC based software package then shortly after an IBM A/S 400 version was developed. In 1999, the Service Locator Internet based version was added.
In 1996, the Fleet-Tech Transportation Services (FTS) Fuel Card product was introduced as a means for the smaller fleets to have many of the benefits enjoyed by larger fleets such as low transaction fees and a focused fuel purchase network consisting of thousands of truck stops.
The Truck Stop Management Program was launched in 2000. The Truck Stop Management Program is a comprehensive Internet based program for managing truck stop sales and profitability.
NATC's Internet based Fuel Purchase Management product was unveiled in 2001. This application provides fleets of all sizes the necessary tools and information to effectively manage their fuel purchase costs.
NATC also provides many other products and services under private label to other trucking industry suppliers and continues to be a driving technology force in the trucking industry.

Fleet-Tech Fuel Card
Since 1996, Fleet-Tech Transportation's Fuel Card program has been the premier program for the small to
medium trucking company striving to lower fuel costs, reduce fuel and cash purchase fees, keep their drivers satisfied, and most
importantly: improve their bottom line. The FTS card is univerally accepted at over 5,000 locations and includes an extensive discount network of over 1,500 locations.
Service-Locator
NATC's Service Locator is the industry standard in over the road breakdown management. Our product line
has been in existence for over 14 years and currently contains over 35,000 vendors offering over 64,000 services. One out of four
of the top 100 for-hire fleets in the United States utilize Service Locator. Service Locator has over 500 installations all across
the United States and Canada.
